Petrol and Diesel engine oil

High performance 100% Synthetic lubricant, specially designed for powerful and recent cars, equipped with Petrol and Diesel engines, naturally aspirated or turbocharged, indirect or direct injection.
The numerous approvals and manufacturer specifications make it a versatile product recommended when vehicles are under manufacturer warranty.
Suitable for all types of fuels, Petrol with or without lead, Ethanol, LPG, Diesel and biofuels.
Compatible with catalytic converters.

The ACEA B4 performance provides superior detergent/dispersant power and resistance to viscosity increase in the presence of soot produced by Direct Injection Diesel engines (except VW pump injector engines which require a VW 505 01 approved product such as MOTUL Specific 505 01 505 00 5W-40, 8100 X-clean EFE 5W-30 or 8100 X-clean 5W-40). The

BMW Long Life-01 standard imposes severe constraints on the oil, particularly because of the Valvetronic systems and post-treatments. This standard covers all BMW engines since 2001 and some engines from 2004. The BMW LL-01 standard also covers previous BMW standards such as BMW LL-98.

The BMW LL-01 standard applies to all petrol engines, even recent ones, only outside the countries of the European Union, Switzerland, Norway and Liechtenstein: refer to BMW recommendations in case of doubt.

MOTUL 8100 X-cess 5W-30 meets the specifications of the BMW Long Life-01 standard of the BMW Group company for BMW, MINI and ROLLS-ROYCE vehicles without exceptions, i.e. for models before and after 2019. For vehicles up to model year 2019, i.e. until the end of 2018 only, the MOTUL 8100 X-cess 5W-40 lubricant can also be used.

For BMW models requiring a BMW LL-04 approved lubricant, use products such as MOTUL 8100 X-clean+ 5W-30, MOTUL 8100 X-clean EFE 5W-30, MOTUL 8100 X-clean gen2 5W-40 or MOTUL Specific LL-04 5W-40.

The MERCEDES MB 229.5 specification is much more demanding than the MB 229.3 standard in terms of shear strength, detergent/dispersant and requires an energy saving of 1.7% compared to a reference 15W-40.

The MB 229.5 standard applies to all MERCEDES Petrol engines, except AMG (in 5W-40 grade) and except SLR model, as well as to MERCEDES Diesel without DPF.
The MB 226.5 standard is similar to the 229.5 and applies to MERCEDES Petrol engines from the MERCEDES/RENAULT-NISSAN partnership.

The Renault RN0700 and RN0710 specifications require lubricants that meet very severe thermal constraints and are compatible with RENAULT post-treatment systems.
The Renault RN0700 standard applies in particular to all naturally aspirated Petrol engines (except Renault Sport) from the RENAULT group (Renault, Dacia, Samsung).
The RN0700 standard also applies to all RENAULT Diesel models equipped with a 1.5L dCi engine without DPF (Particulate Filter) with a power of less than 100 hp and with an oil change interval of 20,000 km or 1 year.
The Renault RN0710 standard applies to all turbocharged petrol engines, Renault Sport engines and diesel engines without DPF from the RENAULT group (Renault, Dacia, Samsung), except RENAULT models equipped with the 1.5L dCi Diesel engine Without DPF whose power is less than 100 hp and has an oil change interval of 20,000 km or 1 year, which require an RN0700 standard. For 2.2L dCi engines With DPF, use only a product approved RN0710, not RN0720.

The VW 502 00 and 505 00 standards are specially designed for VAG group vehicles (VOLKSWAGEN, AUDI, SKODA and SEAT) with fixed oil change intervals (15,000 km in Europe), equipped with Diesel engines, without Pump Injector (Volkswagen PD), without DPF - Diesel Particulate Filter, or Petrol engines.
